The National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) ist ein unabhängiger Staat Regulierungsbehörde für Telekommunikation in Thailand. Seine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten sind alle Telekommunikationsdienste im Land durch die Formulierung eines Masterplans für Telekommunikation, der Festlegung von Kriterien und Kategorien von Telekommunikationsdiensten, Genehmigungs-und über die Nutzung von Frequenzen für Telekommunikationsdienste, und die Vergabe von Lizenzen an die Betreiber von Telekommunikationsdiensten zu regulieren.

Telekommunikationseinrichtungen, um in Thailand verkauft werden unterworfen NTC des Anwendungsbereichs werden in 3 Gruppen eingeteilt:

Who requires to apply NTC application?
- Manufacturers, importers, traders, retailers or advertisers (local/oversea)
- The applicants shall provides local representative in Thailand.
- Applicant wish to submit applications shall be “Local Representative” having a “Suppliers Code” and submitting in Thai language only.
